IT Project Coordinator
Location: White Plains, NY (Hybrid – Minimum 3 days onsite)
Pay Rate:$37/hr W2
Duration:12-Month Contract
Open to U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders working independently. No sponsorship or third-party candidates.

Work Schedule

  • Monday – Friday
  • 7.5-hour workday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
  • Paid for actual hours worked (no paid vacation or sick leave)
  • Office closed during NYPA and Canal holidays
  • Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days onsite, up to fully onsite based on business needs

Project Overview
We are seeking an organized and proactive IT Project Coordinator to support Project Delivery Managers and IT Program Managers across a portfolio of enterprise IT initiatives. This role will assist with project governance, reporting, scheduling, documentation, and coordination while ensuring projects follow established IT PMO processes and methodologies. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting both Agile and Waterfall projects and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Project Delivery Managers and IT Program Managers with the coordination of multiple enterprise IT projects.
  • Coordinate assigned projects and independently lead smaller initiatives when appropriate.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to support successful project execution.
  • Support IT workstreams by following established PMO processes, governance standards, and project management methodologies.
  • Monitor project schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies while tracking project progress.
  • Prepare and distribute project status reports, meeting minutes, executive presentations, dashboards, and project documentation.
  • Identify project risks, issues, and potential roadblocks and escalate concerns to project leadership as needed.
  • Coordinate project meetings, daily stand-ups, action items, and follow-up activities.
  • Support projects utilizing Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Assist with IT Governance and PMO compliance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with project teams, IT departments, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain effective communication among project teams while managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, presentations, and project documentation using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Track outstanding requests and ensure timely resolution of project action items.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience coordinating enterprise IT projects in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience supporting projects using Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience coordinating project schedules, deliverables, meetings, vendors, and project documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
