Introduction
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated project manager who is hands-on and can lead major projects. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with tech executives and delegates to influence and escalate as necessary to meet target dates and mitigate risks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivoting, and lookups
- Strong presentation skills, particularly with PowerPoint
- Experience with budget tracking and application development knowledge
- Background/education in technology (Bachelor’s Degree) and the software development lifecycle
- Prior work experience at a client or in the client's industry, particularly in Financial Risk within banking
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Management consulting background or experience solving unique challenges in managing large programs
- Hands-on experience in trending progress via several systems
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with local and remote co-workers in a fast-paced environment
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Responsible for status reporting, issue escalation, risk mitigation, key messaging/communication (written and verbal)
- Deliverable date management, forecasting, and financial tracking (depending on the project)
- Provide leadership in a matrix organization of skilled architects, engineers, and business partners
- Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives
