SYSTEMTEC is seeking a IT Project Manager for a on-siteopportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC.Candidate will lead complex technology initiatives from planning through implementation and closeout, combining project management expertise with business analysis to define requirements, improve processes, coordinate stakeholders, and drive successful outcomes. The role will manage multiple workstreams while maintaining project visibility, governance, documentation, and communication across technical and business teams.
Required Qualifications of the IT Project Manager:

- Bachelor's degree required.
- 7+ years of project management experience supporting moderate- to high-complexity initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience managing IT, regulatory, compliance, or enterprise-level projects.
- Demonstrated experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, and process redesign.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.
- Experience developing project schedules, resource plans, risk and issue tracking, and executive-level status reporting.
- Proven ability to analyze, document, map, and improve business processes and workflows.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, subject matter experts, and business partners.
- Experience with project documentation, governance, change management, user acceptance testing, and implementation planning.
Preferred Skills/Experience of the IT Project Manager:
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or comparable project management certification.
- Experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules.
- Proficiency with Power BI and/or data visualization dashboards.
- Experience with process mapping, journey mapping, data flows, and future-state process design.
- Experience supporting procurement, vendor management, or statements of work.
- Familiarity with enterprise technology governance, security, compliance, and records management practices.
Responsibilities of the IT Project Manager:
- Lead projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, implementation, and closure while managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and quality.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, work breakdown structures, RAID logs, decision logs, dashboards, status reports, and stakeholder communication materials.
- Lead requirements discovery through interviews, workshops, process analysis, data evaluation, and other business analysis techniques; translate findings into clear and testable requirements.
- Evaluate current-state and future-state processes, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with technical teams to develop effective solution approaches.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts while facilitating meetings, resolving issues, and maintaining alignment.
- Support organizational change, UAT, implementation readiness, cutover activities, post-launch support, and continuous improvement efforts.
Work Location: Columbia, South Carolina — Onsite.
