Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is searching for an IT Project Manager – Infrastructure UAT & Relocation for a contract assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Dallas, TX.
This is a hybrid position requiring onsite attendance 4 days per week. In 2026, it will be less than 4 days due to space limitations.
This role supports a major infrastructure and technology relocation initiative and requires a highly engaged, proactive Project Manager who can develop and manage an integrated UAT project plan across multiple infrastructure workstreams. The successful candidate will take ownership of the overall testing strategy, coordinate technical teams, track execution and dependencies, manage risks and issues, and provide consolidated readiness reporting and sign-offs.
The individual must be comfortable operating independently, driving accountability across multiple teams, and clearly presenting strategy, project plans, risks and status to senior management.
This is not primarily a Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity role. The primary focus is infrastructure relocation, service migration, and integrated UAT/readiness management, with operational resiliency incorporated into the overall validation approach.
Lead technology coordination, UAT planning and operational readiness activities supporting office relocations, data-center migrations and technology service transitions.
Develop and own an integrated, program-level UAT project plan across multiple infrastructure workstreams, establishing deliverables, accountable owners, milestones, dependencies, testing schedules and completion criteria.
Establish the overall UAT strategy, governance framework and testing approach, ensuring alignment with relocation schedules, business requirements and technology readiness objectives.
Partner with individual infrastructure teams to review and validate their detailed testing plans, identify gaps in test coverage, and ensure appropriate testing scenarios and validation criteria are established.
Drive testing and readiness across network, end-user computing, telephony/Trader Voice, audiovisual, physical security, facilities infrastructure and applications.
Coordinate and monitor UAT execution across workstreams, tracking testing progress, defects, remediation activities, dependencies, risks and outstanding deliverables.
Consolidate workstream testing results into program-level status reports, highlighting overall readiness, milestones, risks, issues and potential impacts to relocation timelines.
Coordinate testing completion, obtain formal workstream sign-offs, and support overall go/no-go readiness decisions.
Support data-center and technology service migrations, including testing coordination, cutover planning, post-migration validation and operational readiness.
Quickly learn the existing technology environment and proactively identify requirements, dependencies, risks and testing needs.
Monitor implementation activities and ensure infrastructure solutions meet applicable Enterprise Operations Resiliency requirements.
Partner with Business Continuity Management teams to ensure relocations maintain or appropriately adjust business continuity requirements.
Develop clear, concise and accurate PowerPoint presentations depicting UAT strategy, integrated project plans, readiness, risks, progress and overall program status.
Confidently present strategy, project updates, risks and recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders.
Drive accountability across cross-functional technical teams, proactively escalating issues and ensuring testing and readiness milestones are achieved.

Hands-on project management experience involving data-center migration, decommissioning, service relocation and cutover testing.
Financial Services or Capital Markets experience.
Experience with Business Continuity Management, operational resilience or Disaster Recovery.
Experience validating infrastructure resiliency as part of UAT or technology implementation.
Experience working within regulated or highly controlled enterprise environments.
Familiarity with formal change management, risk management and technology governance processes.

The manager is looking for a proactive, energetic and experienced Infrastructure Project Manager who can independently structure and drive a complex, multi-workstream UAT program.
The successful candidate will be able to quickly understand the technology environment, establish an integrated testing strategy and project plan, coordinate multiple infrastructure teams, monitor execution and dependencies, identify risks and gaps, and drive testing through completion and formal sign-off.
