Position Overview
The IT Project Manager IV is a senior-level leader responsible for ensuring that technology initiatives remain aligned with evolving business needs. This role oversees the cross-functional delivery of complex technology projects, guiding efforts from concept through implementation.
The ideal candidate brings extensive project management experience, strong analytical skills, and demonstrated success managing multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced IT environments.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
Lead cross-functional delivery of complex technology initiatives
Ensure IT practices remain aligned with business objectives
Facilitate projects from concept creation through full implementation
Scope & Planning
Define and document:
Project scope
Goals and milestones
Deliverables
Detailed task breakdowns
Resource requirements
Develop structured project plans and timelines
Agile & Sprint Management
Lead sprint planning sessions and daily stand-up meetings
Guide project lifecycle execution using Agile or hybrid methodologies
Break down complex, multi-disciplinary projects into prioritized action plans
Stakeholder Communication
Provide clear visibility into project status and progress
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and executive leadership
Present updates, risks, and mitigation strategies
Risk & Dependency Management
Identify cross-team dependencies and potential risks
Develop and implement mitigation plans
Drive issue resolution to maintain project momentum
Collaboration & Coordination
Partner with:
Technical teams
Product teams
Business stakeholders
Align technical execution with business priorities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required
10+ years of relevant IT project management experience
