Shift - Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm

Description

Job duties may include: preventing power surges; ensuring that the right amount of energy is distributed; operating power-generating equipment; measuring power flow with gauges, meters, and charts; and maintaining generators, turbines, and other equipment.

Education/Experience

Associate Degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; possesses seven to ten years of experience.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload

The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, tracking, and delivery of a portfolio of AI/ML, analytics, and technology initiatives. The role focuses on maintaining project visibility, facilitating communication across stakeholders, tracking risks and action items, supporting governance activities, and helping project teams execute efficiently.

While some projects may require Agile facilitation and vendor coordination, most projects involve lightweight project management, status tracking, stakeholder engagement, and delivery support across multiple concurrent initiatives. The individual is not expected to serve as a technical contributor but must possess sufficient knowledge of IT, data science, data engineering, AI/ML, and analytics delivery processes to effectively coordinate work, track progress, facilitate discussions, identify risks, and drive resolution of issues across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Possibility of assignment extension.

Required Skills/Attributes

• Strong project coordination, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Adequate working knowledge of IT application delivery, data science, data engineering, AI/ML, and analytics project lifecycles.
• Ability to understand technical concepts, dependencies, risks, and delivery milestones sufficiently to coordinate discussions and drive issue resolution across business and technical teams.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams consisting of data scientists, data engineers, machine learning engineers, business analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects with varying levels of complexity and methodology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to drive accountability and follow through on action items.
• Strong facilitation and meeting management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Education Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum Years of Experience

• 5 years of project coordination, project management, Scrum Master, PMO, or technology delivery experience.

Desired Skills/Attributes

• Experience supporting data science, machine learning, AI, data engineering, cloud, or analytics projects.
• Experience working in both Agile and traditional project delivery environments.
• Scrum Master certification and/or PMP certification.
• Utility or regulated-industry experience.
• Experience coordinating internal teams, vendors, and contractors.
• Familiarity with machine learning development lifecycles, model deployment processes, MLOps concepts, and data platform implementations.
• Experience with UMT 360.
