Description
Job Description: The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing infrastructure-focused technology projects, including device deployments, networking, and other IT initiatives. This role leads project meetings, manages schedules, budgets, resources, and project deliverables while ensuring successful implementation across multiple locations. Approximately 50% travel is required throughout the Hudson Valley area for site assessments and project activities, with the remainder of work performed remotely or from the command center.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage IT infrastructure and device deployment projects
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports
Coordinate meetings and communicate project progress to stakeholders
Conduct site assessments and support implementation activities across multiple locations
Track project milestones, risks, issues, and resource requirements
Apply standard project management methodologies and best practices
Qualifications:
Experience managing IT projects, particularly infrastructure, networking, and device deployment initiatives
Strong project planning, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
Experience managing project budgets and timelines
Proficiency with MS Project, CA Clarity, or similar Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools
Familiarity with healthcare IT or Epic systems is a plus, but not required
PMP certification is not required; proven project management experience is preferred
