IT Project Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager to support technology and infrastructure development projects across multiple locations in the United States. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The IT Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure the successful delivery of IT initiatives aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of low-voltage technology design plans that meet project requirements, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure technology standards are properly configured and implemented across projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and technical specifications.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
  • Conduct regular site visits and field walks to monitor progress and address implementation issues.
  • Partner with internal and external design, engineering, and construction teams to develop project documentation and material requirements.
  • Coordinate the integration of building systems, including building management systems (Client), lighting controls, security systems, audiovisual (AV) technologies, and telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Perform pre-installation site assessments and ongoing project reviews.
  • Plan and schedule engineering, installation, and subcontractor activities.
  • Create and maintain project plans, schedules, issue logs, risk registers, and status reports.
  • Communicate project status, risks, challenges, and milestones to stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors and business partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships to support timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Serve as a liaison between deployment partners and internal technical teams.
  • Support and escalate issues related to conference room and collaboration technologies.
  • Ensure all projects comply with organizational network, cybersecurity, and technology standards.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement AI-driven tools and automation opportunities to improve project delivery, operational efficiency, and decision-making.

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 annually

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and market considerations. Additional bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package may be available.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT project management experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Understanding of telecommunications services, including internet service providers (ISPs), VoIP, and legacy telephony systems.
  • Experience with network infrastructure technologies and core networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with building technologies, including security cameras, access control systems, lighting controls, building management systems, and distributed antenna systems (DAS).
  • Experience supporting conference room and collaboration technologies.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and tools.
  • Experience managing external consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, automation platforms, and data analysis tools, with an understanding of their application in project management and IT operations.

Preferred

  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent).
  • Networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+, or equivalent).

Work Arrangement

Hybrid Schedule

  • In-office: 2 days per week
  • Remote: 3 days per week
