Job Title: IT Project Manager

Details for Role:
Project Management
• Collaborate and share project updates/deliverables with other PMO resources required by G&D and the Talent Project Management Office (PMO).
• Partner with team members to define and document requirements, objectives, scope, inputs, dependencies, roles, and success criteria in collaboration with business and project stakeholders. Ensure pain points, opportunities, and design decisions are clearly documented.
• Conduct project management across project phases including development, infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, system integrations, and data migrations while ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes.
• Develop and apply a strong understanding of solution requirements to improve project management effectiveness.
• Work with all leadership to identify and confirm necessary project and program resources throughout the project lifecycle and resolve resource availability conflicts across the program.
• Lead follow-up activities and ensure action items are completed on schedule.
• Build detailed program/project schedules and promote collaboration across team members.
• Conduct ongoing examination of project and related deliverables for compliance with established processes, project plans/schedules, and budgets, influencing decisions on resource utilization and allocation at key project lifecycle decision points.
• Maintain oversight and accountability for program performance, including creation/review of key project delivery metrics across projects within the program.
• Propose changes to project methodologies, frameworks, and promote best practices for continuous process improvement.
• Foster a mindset of collaboration and continuous process improvement across team members.
Risk and Issue Management
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and potential obstacles affecting project outcomes.
• Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Escalate critical issues to leadership and governance teams as required.
• Monitor and manage RAID logs throughout the project lifecycle.
Stakeholder Management
• Establish and maintain relationships with business, technical, and operational stakeholders.
• Facilitate alignment across cross-functional teams to ensure participation and decision-making readiness.
• Coordinate stakeholder review and formal sign-off of recommendations and proposed solutions.
• Lead communications regarding session objectives, expectations, outcomes, and next steps. Prepare and deliver regular, audience-specific communications/reports/dashboards to ensure that program sponsors, key stakeholders, advisors and leadership are adequately appraised of program and project statuses, successes, risks and issues.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve competing priorities.
Required Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Project/Program Management working on IT solutions utilizing a structured project management methodology and formal tools/approaches (PMBOK, Prince2, etc)
• Knowledge of agile project management methodologies
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communications skills and strong executive presence. Must be able to analyze, understand, and communicate complex ideas across a varied audience, including senior learning and technology leaders
• Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, and project governance activities.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project), MS PowerPoint, and other MS Office suite tools
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficient in Smartsheet project management software (or similar applications)
• Experience with learning methodologies, solutions

• Strategic and critical thinker with the ability to make connections across workstreams and Client’s matrixed organizations
