IT Project Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide technology initiatives that directly impact business operations, infrastructure, and digital transformation efforts. This is a highly visible role responsible for managing complex software development and IT infrastructure projects from concept through deployment and support. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of technical understanding, project leadership, stakeholder communication, and delivery execution across both Agile and Waterfall environments.
This opportunity is ideal for a project management professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, can confidently manage competing priorities, and has a proven ability to drive projects forward while aligning cross-functional teams around shared business goals. The role will partner closely with executive leadership, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
  • Own the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for assigned IT projects, including planning, development, testing, deployment, support, and project closeout
  • Lead large-scale technology initiatives including software implementations, infrastructure modernization projects, system integrations, and cloud-related initiatives
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependency tracking
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with varying levels of complexity and organizational impact
  • Facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders, development teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, and executive leadership
  • Drive Agile and Waterfall project management best practices across project teams
  • Lead business analysis activities and oversee the development of functional and technical requirements documentation
  • Monitor project progress, budget, quality, risks, and overall project health
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues while proactively resolving roadblocks
  • Implement and manage change control processes to ensure alignment with approved project objectives
  • Coordinate project communications and provide regular status reporting to stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Support infrastructure-related initiatives including cloud adoption, networking projects, security implementations, identity management, and data center initiatives
  • Oversee software development projects involving enterprise platforms, portals, integrations, and modernization efforts
  • Lead project retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery performance and team effectiveness
  • Ensure quality assurance standards and project governance processes are consistently followed
  • Serve as a strategic advocate for assigned projects across the organization
  • Mentor project teams and provide leadership, direction, and accountability throughout project execution
  • Perform additional duties as needed in support of IT and business initiatives
