Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to In this role you will get tocoordinatethe delivery ofmedium sizedIT and PMO projects,managingscope, schedule,resourcing, and performanceobjectivesfor satisfactionwhile driving alignment with client goals and contractual requirements. 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Tracking the progressofmedium sizedprojects or multiple small projects, ensuringon scheduleandwithin budgetperformance. 

  • Coordinating stakeholder engagements based on identification of required components of the projects.

  • Buildingin-depthknowledge of clientobjectivesand contractual requirements, as well as applicable Federal and Department of War business practices.

  • Oversight ofbusiness, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of assigned projectsto ensure progress while minimizing project risk and cost.

  • Creation and presentationof key project documents including Project Execution Plans, QA/QC Plans, and Health & Safety Plans. 

  • Assigningprojectresponsibilities tostakeholdersbased on qualifications and strengths, and guiding staff performance and development. 

  • Updating project status in client-derived task management systems across a variety of classification levels.

  • Managing scope changes, negotiating modifications with clients and subcontractors, and ensuringtimelychange orders. 

  • Acting as theclient’srepresentativewith externalproject participants, includingsubcontractors,DoWcommands and staff elements, and interagency stakeholders.

  • Developing budgets, schedules, and execution plans in collaboration with project engineers and discipline leads. 

  • Monitoring and reporting project progress, milestones, risks, and conditions affecting cost and schedule. 

  • Mobilizing resources and coordinating withpeer clientdepartments to ensure effective project delivery. 

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Active TS/SCI w/Poly

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Project Mgmt, Operations or relevant field and 10+ years experience in Project Management. 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Ability to meet Parsons’ project management certification requirements. 

  • Familiarity with integrating engineering/technical aspects with procurement and construction activities. 

  • Proven ability to perform in a management capacity with excellent written and oral communication skills. 

  • Thorough knowledge of industry practices, regulations, and current technology. 

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Strong leadership and team development abilities.
  • Experience coordinating multidiscipline project teams.

  • Ability to develop and implement corrective action plans for delays or scope changes.

  • Experience supporting PMO structures or government project environments

Security Clearance Requirement:
