IT Project Manager

Pay Rate / Salary: $40-$50/hr

Under general direction of the SVP of Program & Project Management oversees high-priority projects, which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration. Responsible for all aspects of the project as it enters the Build Phase (after Internal Proposal and Risk Assessment are complete) through Launch and Lesson Learned, handing it over to the assigned BAU Owner, with the required procedures and processes updated.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage enterprise projects to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, distributors, and vendors. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Responsible for assembling project team (along with the Project Owner), assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project. Communication with Project Team, Executive Team, CO+ and CO team regarding status of specific projects.
• This includes but is not limited to building out project schedules, determining a "Go Live” date, setting up meetings, recording meeting minutes, maintaining Risk log, monitoring project progress (including budget), and alerting management, including Chief Officer Team, if there is an issue to the schedule, budget and/or quality of the initiative.
• Work with Chief Technology Officer in the prioritization of IT project and the analysis of resource allocation.
• Back-up administrator for Monday.com and will continually work to make the system more efficient as enhancements are rolled out.
• Works with other project owners to make sure that their initiatives are tracked properly and accurately. Serves as a Project Management resource/educator.
• This role interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, consultants, vendors, Project Sponsor(s) and Chief Officer team.
• Perform other duties, in addition to normal responsibilities, to help the overall workflow of the department and other departments as assigned by the team leader or direct supervisor.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Three or more years of IT/IT Project Management Experience at a financial institution.

• Strong attention to detail; excellent problem-solving skills

• Proven success working with all levels within an organization

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Familiarity and experience with Monday.com
