We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable individual who can successfully provide first line hardware and software support to Public Safety information systems. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and configuring applications on computers, servers, printers, and other peripherals, and performing malware/virus removal and system recovery
This position serves as the Public Safety IT Liaison, documenting, triaging, resolving end-user incident tickets and providing on-site technical support including administration, maintenance, and enhancements of Public Safety computer systems and related peripherals.
The hiring range for this position is: $71,739.20 - $98,633.60, DOQ.

The City of Manassas offers a variety of comprehensive healthcare plan options through The Commonwealth of Virginia’s Local Choice Health Benefits Program.to include PPO or HMO options, medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage as well as employee assistance program (EAP) benefits and life insurance. Routine vision care, however, is not covered under High Deductible Health Plan. Supplemental insurance is also offered. The City of Manassas participates in the Virginia Retirement System. Full-Time employees become members of VRS as soon as they begin work, as a condition of employment have a matching employee/employer contribution of 5%.
