Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Supplier Quality Engineer (IT Quality/Test Engineer 3). The work will be done onsite in Mossville, Illinois. This is a long-term position that can lead to permanent employment with our client. Compensation is up to $39.36/hour + full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay).
Job Summary
We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (IT Quality/Test Engineer 3) to support supplier quality and non-conformance management activities within a global manufacturing environment. This role focuses on reviewing and evaluating non-conforming material (NCM) reports, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality concerns, and driving root cause corrective actions (RCCA). The engineer will work closely with Supplier Development Engineers (SDEs), manufacturing facilities, and suppliers to ensure quality standards are maintained and issues are resolved efficiently. This position offers strong exposure to cross-functional quality operations, analytics, and supplier collaboration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Review daily Non-Conforming Material (NCM) reports submitted by assigned manufacturing facilities
Analyze NCM data to ensure required thresholds, documentation standards, and quality requirements are met
Collaborate with Supplier Development Engineers (SDEs), facilities, and suppliers to determine material disposition and corrective actions
Support Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities and follow-up investigations
Communicate regularly with suppliers, facilities, and internal stakeholders to support issue resolution and quality improvement efforts
Analyze trends and quality data to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities
Assist with reporting, tracking, and documentation of supplier quality activities
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree required (any discipline considered)
Minimum 5 years of professional experience with a bachelors degree OR 3 years of experience with a masters degree
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and supplier networks
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or corrective action processes
Familiarity with non-conformance reporting and root cause analysis methodologies
Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environments
Internship experience may be considered toward overall experience requirements
