Job Summary:
As the IT Release & Major Incident Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring seamless IT releases and effective major incident management, minimizing disruption to business operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment, communication, and continuous improvement throughout the release and incident management processes. This role requires availability for after-hours and weekend support for major incident resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and execute IT release planning and execution, ensuring stakeholder sign-off and readiness for release testing cycles.
  • Monitor deployment progress, escalating critical issues and publishing release dashboards and metrics.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and communication across various levels, ensuring alignment and regular updates on release performance and issue resolution.
  • Lead major incident management efforts, including initiation of incident bridges and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement in release and incident management processes, adhering to ITIL Change Management practices.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Proven experience in both Release Management and Major Incident Management.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and PagerDuty.
Industry Experience:
  • IT background with a solid understanding of ITSM platforms and ITIL Change Management practices is essential for this role. ITIL certification is a significant plus.
