Immediate need for a talented IT Risk & Controls Analyst. This is a 06 Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Owings Mill, MD (Hybrid). Key Responsibilities: Responsible for implementing and auditing technology policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations Duties include developing and enforcing technology standards and regulations, assessing risk, and supporting the implementation of technology controls Performs standard risk assessments, monitors and reports policy and controls compliance Facilitates and leads audit and compliance activities of high complexity or across multiple business units, including gathering technology controls evidence Participates in the preparation of materials for external audiences and delivers review sessions Coordinates with technology and risk management partners to track and remediate control gaps or findings Work collaboratively in a global team responsible for identifying technology risks and developing technology controls and supporting processes to align with regulatory requirements Ability to break down complex or vague problems and step through them in a rational way Able to evolve a decision as new information is gained Find opportunities for process improvements Assists in implementing new controls and processes as technologies, risks, and regulations evolveKey Requirements and Technology Experience: Must have skills: Audit, control, Operations HM notes:-Technology Risk compliance team Audit and control Support Delivery of control testing evidence Operational activities Facilitating auditable deliverables Audit programs RFP client support Execution of controls within the team Termination and engagement Operational control background Financial or any enterprise industry with good audit experience Nice to have Snowflake, ServiceNow Soft skills: Very collaborative, good collaboration skills, good analytical skills Critical thinking, good communication skills, ask questions, work collectively.Our client is a leading Financial Services Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
