Scope of the Project
The candidate will manage several projects through solicitation, selection, contract negotiation, acquisition, implementation, migration, archival, and sunset of legacy applications.
Daily Duties / Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage all project management activities for agency-wide initiatives as an experienced agency project manager.
- Demonstrate project management expertise in both traditional and agile methodologies and influence project team compliance with industry best practices.
- Manage the overall planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects in parallel. Control scope and schedule to ensure project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks are completed as planned.
- Bring strong project management expertise, collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders, and deliver projects on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives.
- Plan and conduct project status and review meetings. Prepare project status reports and provide updates to project stakeholders and sponsors. Work with a diverse group of professionals at all levels of the agency.
- Prepare necessary documentation to support project initiatives. Manage development of project documentation for new services assigned. Ensure all required project documentation is developed and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Engage in ongoing process improvement around delivery, methodology, and other relevant areas. Identify potential problems proactively and facilitate problem resolutions by implementing risk mitigation strategies.

Required Education
Bachelor's degree and project management experience managing large projects of moderate complexity and risk.
Required Certifications
PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM certification required or in the process of obtaining certification.
