IT Security Analyst 

Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid)

Job Description:

Seeking a Senior IT Business/Compliance Analyst to provide strategic oversight for System Security Plans (SSPs) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs). The role involves collaboration with business partners, technical teams, and security groups to ensure compliance with NIST protocols and enterprise security governance.

• Maintain and update SSPs, ensuring alignment with compliance standards.
• Lead the Authority to Operate (ATO) renewal process for all applications.
• Conduct security risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze compliance documentation and guide corrective actions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure completion of SSP and ATO processes.
• Lead Incident Responses for cyber event detection and recovery.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Business Analytics, or related field, or 5 years of experience.
• Knowledge of NIST Framework and Controls.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• 5 years of experience providing audit evidence for security standards (NIST, PCI, HIPPA, FERPA).
• 5 years of exposure to complex IT web applications.
• 5 years of experience leading meetings and creating reports.
• 5 years of experience as a liaison between business and IT areas.

Preferred Skills:

• 2 years of experience creating documentation for IT system audits.
• 2 years of experience with Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and Incident Response Plans.
