As the IT Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining security controls and platforms that protect the organization's information systems, networks and data. This role will work closely with IT and business teams to identify security risks, respond to incidents and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Candidates must have meticulous attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving skills, the ability to work comfortably under pressure and be able deliver on tight deadlines and in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in at least two of the following key areas:
Security Operations
Incident Response
Governance, Risk and Compliance

NOTE: This position is subject to a 24-hour on-call rotation and must be able to be onsite within 1 hour.

Emergency Service Worker Statement
In the event of an emergency, as determined by the County Manager or designee, participation in preparedness and response operations should be expected. Employee may be required to fill a temporary assignment in a role different from standard duties, work hours and/or work location in preparation for, during and after the emergency. Employee may also be required to participate in relevant exercises and regular preparedness training.
