Leidos is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist in support of NASA's National Security Systems team. This role is responsible for monitoring and analyzing the security posture of networks, servers, endpoints, and other systems. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in detection, mitigation, and response to cyber incidents using a combination of technology solutions and processes.

Primary Responsibilities
- Ensuring security issues are addressed quickly on discovery.
- Collecting and analyzing intelligence to correlate adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Investigating computer and information security incidents.
- Conducting computer forensic network and host analysis and intrusion and threat hunting support.
- Performing penetration tests to evaluate system security.
- Maintaining proficiency in operational tools, creating countermeasures, and identifying trends in adversary behaviors and vulnerabilities.
- Responsible for operational planning in support of training, exercises, operations and coordination of integrated cyber operations by targeting hostile adversary activities and capabilities.
- Applies advanced knowledge of concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Candidates should have command of the following skillsets:
- Expert knowledge in Splunk
- Experience with POA&Ms and vulnerability management
- Basic understanding of network infrastructure design, routed data protocols, and hardware platforms.
- Basic understanding of technologies such as DHCP, DNS, SSH, TCP, and UDP.
- Experience in WAN and LAN, routing, switching, and firewalls. (May want to change to Knowledge of. probably hard to find)
- Experience with security device architecture, engineering, and installation/management. (May want to change to Knowledge of. probably hard to find)
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of Cisco Firewalls.
- Knowledge in Operating Systems such as Windows, Cisco IOS, and RHEL.
