Position: IT Security Operations Analyst/Network EngineerPrimary Location: Washington, DC 20534
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift
Clearance Required: Public Trust Clearance — must be able to obtain and maintain prior to performance
RESPONSIBILITIES- Work with the Patch Management Team to align security processes, policies, and procedures with security standards and operational goals
- Apply knowledge of infrastructure compliance, policies, and practices
- Assess malware impact and inspect vulnerability scan results
- Manage distribution of Microsoft operating system patches and third-party patches using ELMS
- Administer and utilize Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) for patch deployment
- Support broader UNICOR IT security objectives and contribute to the overall security posture
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS- Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience with patching and vulnerability management
- CompTIA Security+ Certification can substitute for 1 year of the required 2 years of experience
CERTIFICATIONS- CompTIA Security+ — substitutes for 1 year of required experience in patching and vulnerability management
