Introduction
The role requires a candidate with a strong background in Cyber Security and/or Technology Infrastructure, with an understanding of law, rules, and regulations (LRRs) to support Policy Governance Lifecycle. The candidate will work onsite 5 days a week in a secure facility and must have experience supporting information security or technology-related policies in a regulated environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Background supporting Information Security policy, including Laws, Rules, and Regulations in a regulated environment
- Ability to analyze and interpret applicable laws, rules, and regulations and align them with policies
- Provide legal and regulatory guidance in connection with firm policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Identify, understand, and prioritize the needs of internal and external customers to provide solutions and resolve problems
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- The ability to draw upon past knowledge and experiences to find a solution and define a path of action
- Analyze and interpret data and trends to inform and communicate statistical analysis results and/or predictions
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate and interface with senior leaders and technically minded SMEs in an IT-based Policy Governance Lifecycle
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Quickly prioritize work and execute defined processes
- Identify adherence controls to policy and identify gaps in coverage
- Help manage risk reduction in a policy governance lifecycle
- Assist in the alignment of regulations, processes, and controls to policy, supporting ongoing adherence monitoring governance activities
- Partner with internal stakeholders and leaders, analyze and convey complex data, and develop and report on progress against assigned tasks
- Deep-dive and deconstruct complicated processes to identify and validate adherence to LRRs and Policy
