Hansen Talent Group is hiring an IT Project Manager to lead enterprise technology initiatives, coordinate cross-functional project teams, and drive successful delivery of complex IT work efforts within a fast-paced enterprise environment.

This role is ideal for a seasoned project management professional who thrives managing multiple concurrent initiatives, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to organizational objectives.


Location: 100% Onsite – Nashville, TN
 

What You’ll Do

• Lead project-oriented IT work efforts from initiation through final business acceptance and implementation
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, timelines, risk management plans, and project documentation
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, within scope, and aligned to organizational quality standards
• Coordinate and manage multiple concurrent project efforts with moderate complexity and enterprise impact
• Monitor project assignments, resource allocations, deliverables, and work efforts on a daily basis
• Identify risks, issues, scope changes, and resource constraints while driving timely resolution and escalation when needed
• Facilitate communication across technical teams, business stakeholders, leadership, and project participants
• Lead project meetings, status reporting, stakeholder updates, and executive-level communications
• Track project milestones and adjust project plans to support evolving business needs and priorities
• Ensure audit and project methodology documentation is completed and maintained throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage project communications, reporting, and formal presentations for leadership and stakeholders
• Analyze project triple constraints including scope, schedule, and budget impacts
• Support strategic planning and continuous process improvement initiatives within the PMO and IT organization

What You’ll Need

• IT experience in a leadership capacity
• 2+ years leading two or more concurrent project teams or initiatives simultaneously
• Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, principles, and best practices
• Experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle from inception to implementation
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to leadership and stakeholders
• Advanced conflict resolution, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing project scope, risks, resources, timelines, and budgets
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and occasional after-hours support needs
• Strong ability to lead cross-functional, multidisciplinary project teams

Highly Preferred Qualifications

• Active PMP Certification
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
• Scrum Master, CAPM, or SAFe Agile certifications
• Experience with CMMI-DEV and Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies
• Healthcare IT project management experience, particularly within Medicare or Medicaid environments
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project and schedule management
