Job Summary:
Performs day to day support, issue management and project management activities primarily for applications utilized by our clinical staff in multiple environments including, acute, ambulatory. Additionally, this individual will act as a liaison to physicians, nurses, pharmacists, technologists and other Physician Practice staff as well as clerical and administrative users, vendors, hospital administration and other businesses.

Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or a related field required and at least three (3) years of experience working with Physician Practice systems; five (5) years preferred; OR and equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of general principles of information systems and applications.
- Workflow analysis, design and implementation
- Data Extraction using software applications to retrieve information from Health Information Systems. i.e.: NPR, iPeople, SQL, Crystal Reports (or similar software), scripting, etc.
- Ability to independently research and seek solutions to problems and contributes to improving workflow and process (i.e. strong, demonstrated troubleshooting skills)
- Ability to translate and gain understanding and support of technical functions and terminology with operations and Physician Practice staff.
- Assist in evaluating systems, preparing and analysis of alternatives, and implementing enhancements to existing systems.
- Perform project management activities as well as analysis, design, implementation, education and support of assigned application software.
- Imaginative, with skills in creative reasoning.
- Demonstrated collaborative team work and ability to succeed in a matrixed environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Compensation:
- $48.00 – 60.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.
- Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
