Title IT Service Center Technician Position Description
Department Information
BSU's IT Service Center provides 24/7/365 technology support for faculty, staff, and students. Assistance is provided via chat, phone, or email.
Position Information
Student employees will be trained to troubleshoot a variety of account and computer issues ranging from installing software, assisting customers with logging into their account to fixing printer issues.
Beyond the training, you will be part of a team that plays a critical role in the daily operations on the BSU Campus.
Eligibility requirements:
Must be a Bridgewater State University undergraduate student registered for a minimum of six credits for the Fall 2026 semester.

1.Excellent customer service skills.
Maintains a good academic standing.
Ability to work independently and to learn quickly.
Strong problem solving skills.
Knowledge of:
Physical Demands
Able to lift up to 20 pounds
