Job Summary

The IT Service Delivery Technician plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operational delivery of IT services across the organization. This hands-on position is responsible for managing service requests, installing and configuring hardware and software, and troubleshooting technical issues to ensure optimal system performance.

 

Job Description

  • Provide technical support to users via phone, email, or in person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and applications
  • Perform system updates and ensure ongoing system performance
  • Train users on new technologies, tools, and software
  • Manage IT service requests and ensure timely resolution in line with SLAs
  • Monitor service performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service delivery processes
  • Support the development and maintenance of service level agreements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers
  • Understand user needs and provide effective technical solutions
  • Gather feedback and address concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Communicate updates, outages, and service changes clearly
  • Document all service requests, incidents, and resolutions accurately
  • Maintain inventory records of hardware and software assets
  • Generate reports on service performance and customer satisfaction
  • Analyze trends and recommend improvements
  • Assist in planning and IT projects such as network upgrades, equipment installations, and system rollouts
  • Support manufacturing and operational systems, including IT tools, UPS, and AV equipment
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Track project progress and provide status updates to stakeholders
  • Ensure IT services and processes meet defined quality standards
  • Conduct periodic reviews and audits to identify improvement areas
  • Implement corrective actions to address performance gaps
  • Stay informed on industry best practices and apply them to service delivery

 

Skills Required

  • 3–5 years of relevant IT support or service delivery experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and basic networking
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, especially with non-technical users
  • Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset
  • Results-driven approach with a focus on efficiency and service quality

Preferred Certifications:

  • CompTIA A+
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
  • ITIL Foundation

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

 

Pay Rate

  • $32 - $36.60 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
