Our Client, a Banking company, is looking for an IT - Software Developer III – Java for their Toronto, ON/ Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Will have this for distribution
 
Requirements:
  • Must-have hard skills:
  • 5+ years of experience within Spring Boot and API development
  • Experience setting up Data base’s from the ground up for new API’s
  • Migration from node to Spring Boot
  • Azure migration experience
  • Understanding of how API’s connect to Mainframe
  • Prior banking experience (big 5 banks)
  • Soft skills:
  • Very strong and clear communication (written and verbal)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Self-motivated, well organized, able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and someone who is a self-starter and adaptable
  • Nice-to-have
  • Azure fundamentals or Java certifications
  • Experience migrating from node to spring boot
  • Prior Client experience
