Job Overview:
As an IT Specialist at Jonesbororealtycompany, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our company's technological systems and infrastructure. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our technology is efficient, reliable, and secure. This is a full-time position, with 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely solutions
- Monitor and maintain network security, including firewalls and antivirus software
- Manage and maintain company databases and backups
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement new technology solutions
- Train and support staff on new technology systems and software
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and make recommendations for improving our technology infrastructure
- Create and maintain documentation of IT systems and procedures
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and products
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in IT support or related role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and peripherals
- Hands-on experience with network security, firewalls, and antivirus software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other common business software
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
