Position: IT Specialist

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our company's IT infrastructure, ensuring that all systems and processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and provide timely support to employees
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place and regularly tested
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements
- Install and configure new software and hardware as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions to improve business processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to make recommendations for new technology implementations
- Train and support employees on the use of technology and software applications
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for IT services and equipment
- Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and data security
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of network and system administration, including Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience with virtualization, cloud computing, and data backup solutions
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Familiarity with project management principles and tools
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are a plus
