This position is located in the Office of Inspector General, Office of Management and Policy, Office of the Chief Data Officer. HHS OIGs Office of the Chief Data Officer is the central data analytics group within HHS OIG. OCDOs vision is to empower OIG to use data proactively and become the model for using data to fight fraud, waste, and abuse and improve program efficiency, effectiveness, and economy. The OCDO is made up of three Divisions that work together to implement the OCDO vision:
This announcement will be used to fill at least 6 roles in the Chief Data Office. Positions are two-year term positions but may be renewed for up to 10 years, depending on available funding. Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements, including education, and any selective placement factors described below within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Applicants for the Information Technology Management series, 2210 at the GS-12 & GS-13 grade level must have Information Technology (IT) related experience which demonstrates proficiency in the following competencies:
In addition to the experience above applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
