OverviewUnited Piping, Inc. is seeking a hands‑on IT Specialist to support day‑to‑day technology operations across the organization. This role is primarily responsible for help‑desk support, device setup, and ensuring technology assets are ready for employee use, enabling efficient and reliable operations.ResponsibilitiesProvide first‑line technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network‑related issuesTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and applicationsRespond to help‑desk tickets and service requests in a timely and professional mannerDeliver excellent customer service to end users with varying levels of technical expertiseConfigure and deploy new employee equipment (laptops, desktops, mobile devices)Prepare and image devices, install required software, and ensure systems meet company standardsMaintain inventory of IT assets and track equipment lifecycleAssist with onboarding and offboarding technology needsPerform routine system updates, patches, and preventative maintenanceAssist in maintaining network connectivity, user accounts, and system accessSupport basic Office365 or similar business applicationsDocument troubleshooting steps, solutions, and standard proceduresMaintain IT knowledge base and asset recordsSupport continuous improvement of IT processes and service deliveryMinimum Qualifications and Required SkillAssociate's degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)2+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or similar roleStrong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skillsExperience with Windows operating systems and standard business applicationsExcellent communication and customer service skillsPreferredExperience with Microsoft365Experience working in the construction industryFamiliarity with basic networking concepts (Wi‑Fi, VPN, LAN)Experience with ticketing systems and asset management toolsExperience with iOS devicesExperience with SharePointCore CompetenciesCustomer‑focused mindsetStrong attention to detailAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasksTeam‑oriented with a proactive approachDependable and responsiveSecurity mindedPhysical DemandsRegularly required to stand, walk, use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The pay range is $55,000.00 to $68,000.00, depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
