United Piping Inc. is seeking a hands-on IT Specialist to support day-to-day technology operations across the organization. This role is primarily responsible for help desk support device setup and ensuring technology assets are ready for employee use enabling efficient and reliable operations.Essential FunctionProvide first-line technical support to employees for hardware software and network-related issuesTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops laptops mobile devices printers and applicationsRespond to help desk tickets and service requests in a timely and professional mannerDeliver excellent customer service to end users with varying levels of technical expertiseConfigure and deploy new employee equipment laptops desktops mobile devicesPrepare and image devices install required software and ensure systems meet company standardsMaintain inventory of IT assets and track equipment lifecycleAssist with onboarding and offboarding technology needsPerform routine system updates patches and preventative maintenanceAssist in maintaining network connectivity user accounts and system accessSupport basic Office 365 or similar business applicationsDocument troubleshooting steps solutions and standard proceduresMaintain IT knowledge base and asset recordsSupport continuous improvement of IT processes and service deliveryMinimum Qualifications and Required SkillAssociates degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience2 years of experience in IT support help desk or similar roleStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience with Windows operating systems and standard business applicationsExcellent communication and customer service skillsPreferredExperience with Microsoft 365 Experience working in the construction industry Familiarity with basic networking concepts Wi-Fi VPN LANExperience with ticketing systems and asset management toolsMobile Device Management experienceExperience with IOS devicesExperience with SharePointCore CompetenciesCustomer-focused mindset Strong attention to detail Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Team-oriented with a proactive approach Dependable and responsiveSecurity mindedPhysical DemandsWork Environment While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk use hands to touch handle or feel reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
