Summary This position serves as a IT Specialist (INFOSEC), located in the Department of Justice, Chief Information Officer, Cybersecurity Services Staff in Washington, DC. The incumbent is responsible for performing information security administration and project management, as well as budgetary program analysis and management. Responsibilities The duties and responsibilities for a IT Specialist (INFOSEC) GS-2210-14 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Monitors activities to assess staff security awareness. Manages high-risk IT projects involving enterprise integrations. Provides advice to support complex information security decisions. Develops security plans to ensure compliance with federal standards. Leads analysis of issues that impact component organizations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To qualify for the position of IT Specialist (INFOSEC), at GS-2210-14, you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below. Basic Qualifications (2210 series): Please refer to the OPM IT Management Series 2210 Qualification Standard for the specific experience requirements for the GS-12 and above positions. AND Specialized Experience: To qualify for the GS-14 grade level, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable non-Federal experience. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing the following duties: Provides technical advice, guidance, and/or recommendations on cybersecurity IT issues. AND Provides oversight of IT project budgets. You MUST meet all qualification requirements by the 07/08/2026 of this announcement.
