Our client, a medical practice located in East Tennessee, is seeking an IT Specialist to oversee and manage all technology infrastructure, systems, and initiatives within the practice. The role is essential for the effective functioning of electronic health records systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimizing technology use to enhance patient care. Qualified candidate will work on handling a majority of IT issues internally. Key responsibilities include:
System Management - Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of EHR and other medical software.
Technical Support - Serve as primary contact for IT-related issues.
Compliance and Security - Ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory guidelines concerning patient data and technology use.
Project Management - leading technology projects, including software installations, upgrades, and system integrations.
Collaboration with healthcare professionals to understand their technology needs.
