The incumbent will provide day-to-day IT technical support for computers, communication devices, software, user accounts and related business technology.
Responsibilities
Purchases, configures, maintains, tracks, and provides user support for technology assets, including but not limited to computers and peripherals, tablets, cell phones, desk phones, printers, software, licenses, and equipment assignments. Installs and configures standard and approved special-request software. Provides user support and troubleshooting for approved business software. Maintains security training software and assists with user enrollment, tracking, and reporting. Sets up and maintains user profiles, group mailing lists, and security groups in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra Provides user support for conference room technology, printers and other approved hardware. Provides IT helpdesk troubleshooting and support and manages tickets in a timely manner. Serves as a liaison with IT Consultants
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or at least four years of experience working in an IT environment. Microsoft administration certificate preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
Familiarity with Microsoft networks, SQL, Azure, backup solutions, and virus protection packages. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve networking issues. Ability to set up and troubleshoot IT equipment.
