Sr. Software Engineer
The Sr. Software Engineer will serve as a key technical resource participating and providing oversight of the configuration, development, support, and maintenance of the ServiceNow Platform. Maintains a high level of fluency in ServiceNow design and development principles. Works with key stakeholders to develop enterprise business solutions for our customers leveraging ITIL processes and best practices.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop software that meets user story acceptance criteria
- Attend daily standups to keep others informed of your progress and to collaborate with fellow team members
- Innovate for user experience
- Thoughtfully apply automation to improve user efficiency
- Support production users through monitoring and working incident tickets
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to execute system integration
- Ensure system is securely developed for reusability and resiliency
- Ensure code and configuration support enterprise scalability
- Support ServiceNow platform upgrade
- Participate in peer reviews
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of working as a ServiceNow developer using any following: Transform Map Scripting Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Data Policies, Script Include Scoped Application Integrations LDAP
- Experience working on large scale, multiple team projects
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator Certification
- ServiceNow CSM Module
