IT Support Analyst

About the job

The IT Support Analyst provides day-to-day technical support, maintains IT systems and

equipment, and helps keep users, hardware, software, and network services running smoothly.

We're looking for someone who

● Has experience providing help desk or technical support (preferred)

● Has working knowledge of computers, printers, network equipment, cabling, and other IT

hardware

● Is familiar with Windows Active Directory, Exchange, Windows servers, UNIX/Linux

operating systems, and network administration (preferred)

● Can install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software

● Understands system backups, recovery procedures, configuration maintenance, and

system stability testing

● Can track support requests through resolution and maintain accurate IT records

● Has strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

● Can communicate technical information clearly and provide basic user training and

documentation

● Can manage IT assets, including inventory, deployment, replacement, and proper disposal

● Can work with third-party vendors and support specialized transit ticketing systems

(preferred)

What you'll do

● Provide day-to-day help desk support and troubleshoot user issues through resolution

● Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, network equipment,

cabling, and other IT hardware

● Install and support software applications, system upgrades, user configurations, and

equipment deployments

● Assist with Active Directory, Exchange, Windows servers, UNIX/Linux operating systems,

and network administration

● Perform routine system backups, recovery procedures, configuration maintenance, and

system stability testing

● Set up, asset tag, inventory, deploy, replace, and properly dispose of computer equipment

and IT assets

● Support third-party vendors and transit ticketing systems with installations, upgrades,

troubleshooting, and maintenance

● Provide basic user training and maintain technical documentation

● Complete IT administrative tasks and other related assignments as needed
