IT Support Technician – 2nd Shift

Pay: $20.70/hour + $1.00 2nd Shift Premium = $21.70/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 PM–3:15 AM
Training: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide first-level technical support to employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will troubleshoot computers, software, printers, scanners, mobile devices, network connectivity, and other technology throughout the facility. The IT Support Technician will work directly with employees in both office and production areas and will escalate more complex issues when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support to employees.
• Troubleshoot computer, software, hardware, and connectivity issues.
• Assist with login, password, and access issues.
• Install, configure, and replace computers, monitors, printers, scanners, and other equipment.
• Support production-floor technology, including computers, terminals, scanners, and printers.
• Assist with basic network and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Prepare and deploy equipment for new employees.
• Track and maintain IT equipment and inventory.
• Assist with software installation and updates.
• Document troubleshooting and completed service requests.
• Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate IT personnel.
• Provide professional and timely customer service.
• Follow all IT security, safety, and manufacturing procedures.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous IT or technical support experience.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and common computer applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work throughout a manufacturing facility.
• Ability to work 2nd shift and overtime as needed.
