About the Role
The IT Support role provides day-to-day technical support for the systems and technology infrastructure used at Consolidated Human Resources (CHR). Working under the direction of the technology and leadership team, this role assists with the administration and upkeep of CHR's core platforms, most notably the Prism HR system, and helps ensure that internal workflows, software integrations, and data environments run smoothly across departments and client-facing services. The IT Support role collaborates with the Client Success team to help clients access CHR systems and service platforms, and supports staff across departments in maintaining CHR's technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Prism HR Administration & Platform Support
• Assist the Prism HR platform administrator with system configuration, user access, and data integrity tasks across client spaces.
• Help maintain client-facing Prism HR environments, supporting proper setup and ongoing maintenance in line with each client's HR and payroll structure.
• Assist with building and updating system workflows within Prism to support accurate and efficient HR operations across the organization.
• Support system-level onboarding and offboarding tasks for clients within Prism, helping ensure complete, compliant, and timely transitions.
Internal Systems & Workflow Support
• Work with internal departments to understand operational needs and help adjust system workflows that support efficient, compliant day-to-day functions.
• Help identify process gaps, redundancies, or inefficiencies in existing internal systems and support efforts to resolve them.
• Help keep internal software platforms running in line with departmental objectives and CHR's broader service delivery standards.
• Serve as a first point of contact for internal system issues, troubleshooting common technical workflow concerns and escalating more complex issues as needed.
CHR Infrastructure Support & Maintenance
• Assist with the upkeep and ongoing maintenance of CHR's internal technology infrastructure.
• Help maintain the organization's SharePoint environment and shared file systems so they remain organized, secure, and accessible to authorized users.
• Follow and help apply standards for file naming, storage, version control, and document management across internal platforms.
• Support the build-out and continuous improvement of CHR's internal data architecture as the organization grows and evolves.
• Own the workstation deployment process for new and departing employees, ensuring accuracy of account set up and data security
System Integrations & Software Transitions
• Assist with maintaining integrations between CHR's internal platforms and third-party systems to support reliable data flow and operational continuity.
• Support system integration projects, helping with tasks such as requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
• Support internal software transitions, helping to minimize disruption to operations and keep affected teams informed throughout the process.
• Assist in working with third-party vendors and technology partners on system implementations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform support.
Cybersecurity & Data Governance
• Follow and help apply cybersecurity best practices across CHR systems, platforms, and infrastructure environments.
• Help monitor for security vulnerabilities, access anomalies, and data risk across internal and client-facing platforms, and report concerns to the appropriate team.
• Help ensure systems, file environments, and integrations meet applicable data security and privacy standards.
• Assist with maintaining internal protocols for secure access management, user permissions, and system audit trails.
Client Success Collaboration
• Work with the Client Success team to help clients maintain access to CHR services and software platforms.
• Provide technical support to the Client Success team on client system configurations, platform questions, and service delivery issues.
• Support the onboarding of new clients from a systems perspective, helping ensure platforms are properly configured and accessible at the time-of-service launch.
• Assist with client-facing technology projects as directed, including system demonstrations, data migrations, and platform training.
Project Support & Special Initiatives
• Assist with cross-functional and leadership-driven projects as needed, contributing technical support and assistance.
• Help document system configurations, integration specifications, and infrastructure standards to keep the internal knowledge base accurate and current.
• Stay current on emerging HR technology platforms, integration capabilities, and industry best practices to support CHR's ongoing infrastructure efforts.
Reporting & Data Analysis
• Produce and distribute reports through the Prism HR Report Center to help meet the needs of internal departments and clients.
• Build and maintain customized report views based on departmental or client requirements, helping ensure outputs are accurate, timely, and properly formatted.
• Use SQL-based reporting tools, with support as needed, to fulfill specialized reporting requests that fall outside standard Prism platform capabilities.
• Respond to report requests from any internal department or client, prioritizing accuracy and responsiveness in all reporting deliverables.
• Work with department leads and the Client Success team to understand ongoing reporting needs and help refine report views to reflect changes in operations or client structure.
Qualifications
Required
• 1 to 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, HR technology, or a related technical role; relevant internships or coursework will also be considered.
• Some exposure to HRIS or workforce management platforms; Prism HR experience a plus.
• Basic familiarity with, or willingness to learn, programming languages such as SQL and Python.
• Basic understanding of system integrations and APIs; willingness to learn vendor coordination.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Awareness of cybersecurity fundamentals and data governance best practices.
• Interest in supporting software implementation or transition projects.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
Preferred
• Experience working within a PEO, ASO, or HR outsourcing environment.
• Familiarity with payroll systems, benefits administration platforms, and retirement plan integrations.
• Coursework or interest in data, business intelligence, or HR analytics.
• Experience with workflow automation tools and process documentation.
