Job SummaryThis position is seeking an IT Support Specialist 3 to maintain business applications and critical infrastructure while providing management and support for additional DDS systems, including lobby management, mobile systems, cameras, and A/V technologies.
The ideal candidate will support production incidents, coordinate with technical partners to restore services, and participate in post-incident reviews to improve operational reliability. This role requires a commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities Maintain scalable and cost-effective cloud environments.
Develop cloud-based solutions aligned with business objectives.
Design, build, and maintain internal cloud applications.
Recommend hardware and software solutions based on organizational needs.
Utilize automation and provisioning technologies such as AWS CLI and Terraform.
Monitor and respond to ServiceNow tickets in a timely manner.
Provide end-user support for software, configurations, and business processes.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and automation.
Minimize downtime and data loss risks.
Support members of the IT Infrastructure team.
Monitor ticket activities and escalate issues when necessary.
Troubleshoot and support PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, and related equipment.
Support video conferencing, A/V, mobile systems, and other agency applications as required.
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field and related professional experience.
OR
Associate, vocational, or technical degree in a related field and related professional experience.
OR
Experience equivalent to an IT Support Specialist 2 position or similar role.
Required Skills and Competencies Minimum 2 years of IT support and systems management experience.
Professional certification such as A+, Network+, Cloud+, or equivalent.
Experience using ServiceNow.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to business users.
Experience supporting desktop hardware, operating systems, and applications.
Knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and related technologies.
Experience troubleshooting TCP/IP network issues.
Experience supporting or learning video conferencing, A/V, and camera systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to identify technology trends and recommend improvements.
Experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments.
