Position will provide technical support for academic lab environments, Faculty, and staff computing equipment within the School of Arts, Humanities, and Technology.

Minimum Education and Experience

Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Education and Experience Other Qualifications

To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with academic lab maintenance and operations. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and handle warranty interaction with vendors for computer equipment. Facilitate repairs and maintenance of assets. Assist with property asset management and inventory procedures. Provide desktop support and other IT related services, including AV support.

Daily tasks include: device vulnerability remediation, documentation, equipment setup and troubleshooting, software deployment and patching, facilities installation of technology equipment.

A remote work schedule is not available for this position.
