Position Summary:The IT Specialist II will build and maintain SCL Sharepoint resources and provide day-to-day computer support to end users, including Sisters and employees.
Essential Responsibilities and Job Duties:
Coordinate with other departments to build and maintain Sharepoint sites as directedUpdate software inventory and assist with software patch maintenance.Update computer hardware inventory and assist with hardware lifecycle maintenance.Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware by utilizing Help Desk Ticketing software.Respond to queries either in person, over the phone or via email.Ask questions to determine the nature of a problem.Install and modify computer hardware and software.Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.Install computer peripherals for users.Follow up with users to ensure issues have been resolved.Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required,Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Well organized and detail-oriented.Proven problem-solving skills.Experience building and administering Sharepoint sites highly preferred.1-year computer helpdesk experience preferred.Experience with Audio/Visual equipment a plus.Preferred experience with the following:
Microsoft 365 suite, EntraID, Sharepoint Microsoft Windows Operating Systems in an Active Directory domain environment.Coding, app development, Powershell scriptingCybersecurity concepts and best practices
Supports the SCL philosophy of caring, compassion and concern.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform sedentary work, sitting at desk and/or typing for long periods of time.Ability to bend, stoop and reach. Requires the ability to lift, carry and push up to 25 lbs.Ability to work in confined spaces.
