IT Support Specialist


Growing Real Estate Investment firm is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide technical support to corporate employees and remote property teams across a multi-state property management portfolio. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and user-access issues while helping maintain a secure and reliable IT environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide technical support via phone, email, remote access, and in person.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, software, and mobile devices.
  • Manage help desk tickets and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Support user account administration, password resets, permissions, and access management.
  • Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware, software, Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic network issues.
  • Assist with VoIP phone systems, workstation deployments, and new hire onboarding.
  • Coordinate with vendors for internet services, equipment repairs, and hardware procurement.
  • Maintain IT inventory, asset tracking, and equipment lifecycle management.
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives, including MFA, antivirus, software updates, and access controls.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of IT support or help desk experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic networking issues.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred:

  • Experience supporting multi-site organizations.
  • Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, Rent Manager, or AppFolio.
  • Basic understanding of networking, VPNs, switches, and wireless environments.
  • A+, Network+, or similar certifications.
