Role: Mid-level IT Support / Systems Technician
Experience Required: 1–3 years in IT support, help desk, or technical troubleshooting.
Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support: Resolve incoming employee for desktop software, hardware, laptops (Mac and PC), and mobile devices.
System Administration: Install, configure, and update operating systems (Windows, linux and macOS) and business applications.
Network Maintenance: Troubleshoot basic LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and printer connectivity issues cabling install and troubleshooting.
User Management: Set up new user accounts, manage password resets, and administer basic access permissions. badge creation and management.
Documentation: Track IT requests, document solutions, and escalate complex network or security problems to senior staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Windows, Linux, macOS, Active Directory, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Certifications: Preferred credentials include CompTIA A+ or Network+, but not required.
Soft Skills: Strong customer service, patience, and clear communication for helping non-technical staff, motivated, self starter, good work ethics.
Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose root causes quickly and prioritize multiple support tasks under deadlines.
