Kforce has a client in Bethlehem, PA that is seeking an IT Support Technician for a 4-month contract role. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Role Overview: We are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support. This role will focus heavily on imaging, deploying, and replacing PCs and terminals in professional settings, as well as resolving end-user issues through a ticket-based support model. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working around staff, and able to deliver excellent customer service in fast-paced environments. Key Responsibilities:
  • Image, configure, and deploy PCs and terminals across local locations
  • Replace and install workstations and peripherals
  • Provide ticket-based IT support, responding to and resolving end-user issues in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot Windows desktop, hardware, peripheral, and connectivity issues
  • Work efficiently and discreetly in active settings with minimal disruption
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and equipment changes in the ticketing system
  • Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate teams as needed
  • Deliver professional, customer-focused support staff

Requirements:

  • Prior experience providing hands-on IT support in enterprise environments
  • Strong Windows desktop support skills (Windows 10/11 preferred)
  • Experience with device imaging, configuration, and workstation deployments
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and documenting technical work
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
