Description

Store Support Technician

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to support and troubleshoot day-to-day technology issues of our stores (branches), including but not limited to desktop applications, custom applications, computer hardware, networks equipment and Cisco Webex Desk phones system.

As a Store Support Technician, you will:

  • Setup and configure new computers
  • Setup and installation CCTV, network equipment.
  • Network cabinet (rack) installation.
  • Structured cabling installation.
  • Install application software.
  • Set up/remove user accounts on systems (network, email, phone, security, etc.)
  • Maintain (patches, updates, and fixes) software used on desktop systems including OS, anti-virus and malware protection
  • Track and update IT inventory
  • Work with vendors to help resolve technical issues
  • Perform miscellaneous related duties and other duties as assigned
  • Respond to hardware and software support issues from employees for Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), Cisco phone setup, Printers, USB devices, like, scanners, digital signature pad, card and finger readers,etc.
  • Travel is required to the different states of the United States as well as to the countries in America where Ria has stores.
  • Work with the Ria ticketing system, Qualys Dashboard
  • Keep a weekly schedule of the work done in the Ria stores.
  • Maintain an inventory assigned to each Ria Store.
  • Request replacement through Ria inventory for damaged equipment.
  • Support the Technical Support department queue when necessary.
  • Verify that all the PCs in the Ria store follow the security agents.
  • To provide the necessary support in stores you will have to move between stores, and this would take 60% of the time driving and 40% providing support in stores

Successful candidates will possess:

  • A valid drive's licensing
  • A valid passport is required
  • Certificate or Diploma from a Technical School plus one year of directly related experience, preferably certifications in Fundamental or Core (based on the CompTIA career path)
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and think creatively
  • Experience using Windows 10, and Office 365 a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently on assigned duties
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
  • Strong Customer Service
  • Basic knowledge of:
  • DHCP
  • DNS
  • Active Directory
  • Domains Controllers
