Insitu, a leader in Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), is seeking a skilled Level 2 Support Technician for a 12-month onsite contract in Bingen, WA. As a Level 2 Support Technician, you will provide IT support to end users, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement effective solutions. You will ensure a high standard of customer service, act as a primary point of contact for onsite IT needs and collaborate with senior technical staff as required.
What you'll do:
- Respond promptly to IT service requests, providing technical support in line with company guidelines.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, delivering effective fixes and workarounds.
- Escalate and coordinate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams or subject matter experts.
- Document the resolution process for all help desk requests, maintaining accurate records from initial report to final solution.
- Install, configure, repair, and replace computers, peripherals, and software.
- Assist users in understanding system operations and resolving common technical concerns.
- Support meetings by assisting with audiovisual (AV) setup as required.
- Facilitate basic IT training for new employees, including workstation and account setup.
Education & Experience:
- Associate degree in a relevant discipline and at least 1 year of professional IT experience.
- Strong customer service focus and reliable work ethic.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with high attention to detail.
- Clear verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities.
- Broad understanding of computers, networks, and software troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technology and software.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Experience supporting Windows operating systems
- Experience with hardware thoroughgoing and imaging/deployment tools
- Knowledge of ticketing systems
- Experience supporting remote users and VPN technologies
In-Office Requirement Statement: (On-Site) This role requires hands-on work on our products/collaboration with on-site teams, and will need to work on-site full-time in Bingen, WA.
