IT Support Technician 

Location: Onsite at our Stevens Point, Wisconsin campus
Employment Type: Full-Time

Are you passionate about technology and enjoy helping others solve problems? Lands’ End is looking for an IT Support Technician to join our team. This entry-level role is a great opportunity for someone looking to build foundational IT skills while providing excellent customer support in a fast-paced environment.

In this hands-on position, you'll work closely with employees across the business, providing front-line support and ensuring our technology resources are set up and functioning smoothly. If you are customer-focused, eager to learn, and enjoy solving problems, we'd love to hear from you.

 

What You'll Do
 
  • Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, and other devices using Microsoft Intune Autopilot.
  • Manage IT inventory, including receiving, stocking, asset tagging, and shipping equipment.
  • Provide friendly first-level support for common technical issues such as password resets, connectivity issues, and printing problems.
  • Deliver desk-side support including device setup, cable management, and workstation configuration.
  • Document support activities in ServiceNow and follow established processes for issue resolution and escalation.
  • Help maintain accurate inventory records and contribute to continuous process improvements.
 
What We're Looking For
 
  • Basic familiarity with Windows 11, macOS, and Microsoft 365 applications such as Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Entra ID and Intune device enrollment is a plus.
  • Understanding of or exposure to ITIL and Agile methodologies.
  • Comfortable using remote support tools and following standard operating procedures.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to follow processes accurately.
  • Self-motivated learner who takes initiative and embraces new challenges.
Qualifications
 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0–2 years of help desk, technical support, or desk-side support experience.
  • Foundational technical knowledge and a willingness to learn and grow in an IT support environment.

Preferred Certifications

  • CompTIA ITF+ or A+
  • HDI Desktop Support Technician
  • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals/Azure Fundamentals
  • Jamf 100
    Physical Requirements
     
    • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
    • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
    • Ability to work onsite daily at our Stevens Point, WI Lands’ End location.
