Salary is set by WA Office of Financial Management and is not negotiable. Salary listed is inclusive of King County Pay Premium.

The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator is a full-time, classified position within Shoreline College's eLearning Resources Department and reports directly to the Director of eLearning Services. This position is the technical lead and system administrator responsible for deploying and maintaining a range of technologies to support teaching and learning including the college's learning management system (currently Canvas), integrated technologies such as lecture capture, web conferencing, and a suite of other learning-focused technology tools. The Learning Management System Administrator works collaboratively with coworkers in the eLearning department, Technology Support Services, and others across campus to ensure stable learning systems and to enable innovative approaches to learning through technology.

Conditions of Employment
Physical Work Environment:
The College provides services both online and in-person. This position will perform work in a standard office setting, use standard office equipment and physically attend meetings. Please note, there may be limited opportunities for online work depending on program or area needs. If authorized for online work, employees will need to provide their own workspace and internet access, noting the College will provide technical equipment and support for online work needs.
Terms Of Employment/Salary:
This position is allocated to pay range 06IT, under the Washington State Office of Financial Management higher education salary schedule. Salary placement for new employees is determined by the College. This position works 40 hours per week, with a schedule dependent upon department needs. Hiring of this position is contingent on available funding as determined by the College President.

PART-TIME FACULTY POSITIONS
A part time faculty member becomes eligible for benefits at the beginning of the second consecutive quarter of half time or more employment at one or more Washington state institutions of higher education. Spring and fall quarters are considered consecutive quarters for benefits eligibility. Half time is determined based on each institutions definition of full time.
A part time faculty member must qualify each quarter they teach to maintain eligibility. Once eligible, part time faculty will be notified of their benefit and retirement options.
