Position Description

QCi is expanding itsIT operations team and is seeking a System and Network Administrator tosupport endpoint environments (MacOS, Windows, Linux), Microsoft 365, andday-to-day infrastructure for our growing engineering and fabrication teams inTempe. This is a hands-on role supporting both end users and operationalsystems within a highly technical manufacturing environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working with adistributed team of IT team members.
  • Support employeesacross Windows, Linux, and MacOS environments while helping minimize downtimeand operational disruptions.
  • Assist withinfrastructure deployments across office, laboratory, and fabricationfacilities, including networking, endpoint hardware, and operational systems.
  • Support deviceimaging, hardware refreshes, patching, and lifecycle management initiativesacross multiple facilities.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’sdegree in computer science or related field preferred but not required.Equivalent hands-on experience will be considered in place of a formal degree.
  • 3-5+ years ofexperience in IT support, system administration, infrastructure, or networkingenvironments.
  • Certifications such asCompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+.
  • This role is highlyvisible within the Tempe facility and benefits from someone who enjoys beingphysically present with users, understanding workflows firsthand, and solvingproblems collaboratively.
  • This is not a heavilysiloed enterprise environment. The team values adaptable IT professionals whoare comfortable wearing multiple hats and learning quickly.
  • Linux and WindowsSystem Administration.
  • Windows ActiveDirectory and other core applications and services.
  • Backup and Recovery,Disaster Recovery Planning and testing experience.
  • Familiarity withSOC-2, CIS, CMMC, SOX or other Compliance Frameworks.
  • LAN and WAN Networkingexperience. Layer 2 Switches, Firewalls, VLANs, cable management andtroubleshooting skills.
  • Multi-protocol NASfiler experience (SMB, NFS and S3).
  • Management experiencewith DNS, Registrar Interactions, Email/SMTP and other core Internet systems.
  • Authentication, VPNs,Identity Providers, and Certificate Management.
  • Experience installingand supporting 3rd party applications.
  • Ability to work wellwith our technical and business staff.
